Hey there!
Join us in helping school kids around the country learn about Astronomy! The Cosmic Chatter Team will design course content, information for magazines, experiments, and other fun stuff that will help the kids understand and appreciate Space like you do.
This will be a two-month project, with an option to continue in the team after that.
We have only 5 spots, so hurry up and join in!
What is the Program?
- The Program will have separate modules for students from Classes 1 to 8.
- Modules will increase in complexity as we go to the higher classes.
- The Program will run round the year.
- The Sessions will be once a month.
- The Sessions will involve theoretical and practical approaches (i.e. a class on telescopes will also involve an activity of building a telescope).
What Will You Do?
You, as part of a team of 5, will build and deploy a cocurricular course that will run in parallel with the school syllabus. The work will involve understanding the existing curriculum, defining what aspect of Astronomy you want to communicate, and building it into the course. The Project right now is only about developing the course load. The Implementation Phase will commence once this is completed. The team will be led by our Cosmofluencer Anjana B R.
Most people in this team will be doing it for the first time, so you’ll learn as you go along. Don’t let a lack of experience come in the way of you joining!
